My 1st photoshoot of 2011! Shooting for Sha Alexon...

Sha Alexon was founded in March 2010. Sha, who resides in New Delhi, India and Lauren Alexon, who resides in Miami Beach, Florida and was brought together while Lauren was modeling for Yasser Faraco. Prior to Sha Alexon, Sha was designing for multiple designers like Scala USA, Ashro, and Adrianna Papell. These brands and the companies he designed for are sold in stores like Dillards, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor, Zara, Cashe, and Arden B. He started getting tired designing for other people and wanted a name for himself. Soon after, he came across model and makeup artist Lauren Alexon. During this time, Lauren had moved to Miami Beach from Maryland a few months prior to pursue her seven year experience makeup artistry career. Sha and Lauren were only going to work on a collection together but after collaborating and designing Sha and Lauren were both thinking, “I don’t want this to be over.” Therefore, they decided to create a label and Sha Alexon was born. A couple months later, Sha flew to Miami for a fashion show event and Sha Alexon was one of 6 designers to showcase at the Gansevoort Hotel Plunge rooftop, May 5th, 2010. Lauren’s mother Deborah Pouliot shipped her jewelry collection from Europe that she designed and created for Sha Alexon’s first collection. Since the event, Sha Alexon dresses have been in the Miss Hawaii, and Miss Brazil competitions. Also, Lauren was chosen to be a judge for the Florida Earth and Florida Teen Earth Pageants. “It’s an honor to represent for Sha Alexon and the judging process for an Earth friendly environmental cause.” Says Lauren. Currently, the ready-to-wear women’s collection will launch Fall/Winter 2011.
